Scope

Real estate development and management are central to shaping the built environment by driving urban growth, supporting economic development, and ensuring the efficient use of land and property assets. While development involves the planning, design, financing, and construction of projects, management focuses on the long-term operation, maintenance, and optimization of property performance. In a rapidly changing landscape characterized by urbanization, tourism growth, sustainability challenges, and economic uncertainty, the sector must adopt innovative development approaches and effective management practices to address issues such as project delays, construction inefficiencies, evolving user preferences, and the need for place-based competitiveness. In this context, CRES is dedicated to advancing research and knowledge that integrates both strategic and operational aspects of real estate development and management.
